5 Inspirational Quotes

Its no secret that inspiration leads to great change. Many of our past leaders, revolutionaries, movers and shakers understood this.

Which makes it no wonder that they often leave us with words of inspiration as well.

Sometimes, a few words have the power to give us clarity, makes us think in a different way, get us excited and motivate us.

Here are 5 great quotes that are sure to brighten any day:

1. "Try not to become a man of success but a man of value" - Albert Einstein

Einstein embodies this very powerful quote. When you look at his ground breaking work, you can see that his efforts and discoveries were never pushed by what will make him money or be seen as successful, but for the love of discovery and learning. With this driving motivation, Einstein contributed far more to our world than he ever would have if his motivation would have been success, not value.

2. "Memories of our lives, of our works and our deeds will continue in others" - Rose Parks.

Rosa Parks probably did not know how big the repercussions of her actions when she spoke these words. This just goes to show that even the smallest kind gesture can reap the biggest rewards.

3. "Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase." Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King spoke out for a cause on the faith that humans understand the need for equal rights and treatment.  He couldn't have accomplished all he did without the giant leap of faith he took. Dr. King is a great reminder to stick to what you believe in.

4."Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt" - William Shakespeare

Shakespeare has a good point. If fear of failure stops you from trying, then you have already failed. Just think what would have happened if Shakespeare had not let anyone read his works because he was afraid of people rejecting them?

5. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" Gandhi

You can't speak about making changes, if you don't embody these changes. What if someone was always telling you to always treat others the way you would like to be treated, but then treated others with no respect while demanding it from others? You more than likely won't listen to them.

You can find inspiration anywhere, not just words, but music, paintings, the outdoors, your loved ones. Its important to know what motivates and inspires you. People paint, act, draw, read or meditate for inspiration. Many people use the Silva Method of meditation for motivational purposes.

It doesn't matter where or how you find your inspiration. As long as you know what inspires you and how to get it.
